Velocity Academy have recognised one of our apprentices for their development with us as part of their course.

Dom Carpenter is an ICT & Digital Apprentice and his journey through our apprenticeship programme serves as a shining example of dedication, perseverance, and the rewards of hard work.

Dom’s commitment to excellence is evident in every task he undertakes. As a determined and hardworking individual, he has not only excelled in his role but has also built strong relationships across various departments within LHP.

In December, Dom’s perseverance bore fruit. He showcased his skills and passion during an interview for the vacant Service Desk Analyst role. His outstanding performance led to an offer for the position, highlighting his ability to seize opportunities and excel in challenging environments.

Furthermore, Dom’s achievements have garnered recognition beyond LHP. His training provider, Velocity Academy, presented him with the award of “Apprentice of the Month” for January.

Nigel Dearne, ICT Skills Tutor at Velocity Academy, commended Dom’s exceptional work ethic and dedication throughout his apprenticeship.

Nigel remarked, “Dom has been fantastic over the duration of his apprenticeship. His hard work is clearly evidenced in his portfolio. He has especially shone in the group lessons and has been working determinedly to overcome challenges.”
