Accounting training for customers

We’ve teamed up with AAT, leading professional body for accounting technicians, to offer two free training courses to our customers (subject to funding)

Level 1 Access Award in Business Skills:  Covers preparing for work, using numbers in business and sales and purchases in business

Level 1 Access Award in Bookkeeping: If you have no prior accounting knowledge, this entry-level bookkeeping qualification will give you an understanding of manual, single-entry bookkeeping basics

Who can apply?

The courses are open to anyone.  Funding can be applied for if you meet the following criteria:

• Aged 19+
• Legally allowed to work in UK
• Unemployed
• Or on low income (receiving means tested benefit; job seekers allowance, or Universal Credit)
